Because of a basement leak this past winter, one section of my backyard lost all of its grass. This turned into an ugly weed patch in the spring.
Call it misfortune, mistake, or a silly mess – it looks bad! But wait, for a change of perspective, could this be instead a great chance to create a whole new garden room?
I could put a few stepping stones here – move in a few shade-loving plants there, and this may turn into a lush new area by next spring…
I enjoy observing the evolution of ideas in my garden. It is so visual!
